Eldercare/Prime Plus Financial Services
To help the state’s growing number of senior citizens navigate through complicated financial and tax issues, Gruber & Company offers a specially designed array of services called Eldercare/Prime Plus for Georgia’s graying population.
The firm’s array of senior services stems directly from work over the years with business executives and high net worth individuals who have now retired. From estate tax planning to overall tax planning services to business appraisals and family business strategic planning, our work has also extended to multiple generations of their families as their children grow up and, upon their deaths, to their widows and beneficiaries.
“After more than 37 years as a CPA,” Gruber noted, “my business has increasingly centered on helping people over 55 with the complex issues they face as they retire, yet live longer. I found that their financial issues are just as complex, if not more so, than when they were still in the workforce.”
The firm customizes its services to meet the specific needs of each client. Eldercare/Prime Plus services include but are not limited to:
- Personal Finances and Banking – Handling financial transactions (including bill payments) and ensuring that expected incomes are received and deposited with all bank activity reconciled.
- Taxes – Preparing Federal and State Income tax returns, including help with quarterly estimates and payroll reports required for homecare providers. Timely CPA/client discussions and the “Power of Attorney” function, if necessary and desired.
- Investments – Ensuring that the client’s investments are managed in accordance with the client’s instructions and all reports are received in a timely manner.
- Insurance – Monitoring the client’s insurance coverage, by ensuring all premiums are paid when due and claims are prepared and received on time with a current detailed listing of in-force policies. Communication as necessary with insurance agents to ensure a search has been accomplished for the best rates possible on each insurance contract owned.
- Contracts – Handling all necessary communication for attorneys, the client’s position as a lessee or lessor, and any rental agents concerning leased property, rental agreements, advice on sales, and any other client agreements that might arise. Various monitoring programs can be set up to report activity to client currently, as required.
- Business Assistance – Evaluation and assistance with fellow partners, admission formulas for new partners in selling closely owned businesses and general business strategies that may arise during the engagement.
Gruber is also a founding member of the Georgia Eldercare Network, an array of industry-leading specialists and providers of various services. Gruber and his staff also provide house calls as necessary for home-bound clients.
Working with Gruber & Company, you will be treated with respect, honesty and understanding. Most importantly, you will deal with a person who adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
